  • The view through to The Threshing Barn makes for a stunning backdrop

  • Direct access to the farmyard

The Threshing Barn

  • Our large barn offers a versatile indoor/outdoor space great for messier activities and gatherings in the warmer months

  • A fantastic space that can be your blank canvas - design your event the way you want, bring in lights, music, food, drink, and entertainment as you desire

  • Despite not being sealed from the elements and so better suited to use in spring and summer, we think it would make a great spot for a Christmas market!

  • Capacity:

    • Seated approx 50-60

    • Standing approx 70-80

  • Festoon lighting and flood lighting installed - feel free to add your own decorative/event lighting

  • Original cobbled floor

  • Easy access for vehicles via The Courtyard

The Courtyard

  • At approx 25m x 12m The Courtyard is a large space that can be used when booking The Threshing Barn, The Meeting Room or The Small Barn (please specify you wish to use it at the point of booking. Availability dependent on other bookings).

  • Vehicle width access - 3.4m 

  • A large south facing patio with patio furniture

  • Mains 13AMP power

  • Festoon lighting

  • Note: The Courtyard is shared space and use of it must be considered alongside the needs of the other users.

The Farmhouse

  • The 4-bedroom farmhouse and its annexe can be rented standalone or combined to provide accommodation for your event at The Old Farmyard

  • The Farmhouse can sleep up to 9, comprising;

    • 4 bedrooms (2 doubles, 1 twin, 1 Triple (a single and a double) 

    • 2 bathrooms, both with bath and shower

    • A large, comfortable sitting room

    • A large traditional farmhouse kitchen with a generous dining table

  • The Annexe sleeps 2

    • The annexe has its own access, a living room, kitchenette and double bedroom with en-suite bathroom featuring a roll-top bath.

Shepherds Huts

Immerse yourself in nature whilst being in the comfort you'd expect from glamping. Our shepherd huts are newly built and hermetically sealed to stay warm and dry on those cold nights. When you book the huts you get access to both the Adult and Children's hut, able to sleep up to 6 people. If that's not enough we offer the ability to pitch a tent next to the huts to sleep additional people.

Outdoor Spaces

Are you looking for outdoor space for your event?
 

  • The farm has a diverse range of landscapes; from the farmyard, grass and arable land to mature, native woodland, manor houses and walled fruit tree gardens. 

  • Be it for a photo shoot, outdoor training, woodland yoga or landscape painting classes, whatever it may be, we will most likely have something that works for you. Drop us a message and we can discuss.

  • We also have a 30 person, tractor-drawn, trailer that can be hired to transport you across the farm, or equally provide a bespoke farm tour.
